Casey attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he graduated in 2007 with a degree in Criminology. He then continued on to the University of Western Michigan Thomas Cooley Law School where he was heavily involved in student programs. While in law school, Casey worked as a judicial extern for the Chief Judge in Oakland County Circuit Court. As a second and third year law student, Casey worked for the State Appellate Defender’s Office in Detroit, Michigan assisting in appeals due to negligence by the Detroit Crime Lab.

During his time at the State Appellate Defender’s Office, Casey assisted in the appeal that saw the release of an innocent inmate after 8 years of incarceration. Casey specializes in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death arising from automobile accidents and complex commercial litigation.
